As you complete our online enrolment form for classes at JHDA, we will collect the following types of personal information.

·       Names of parents/guardians/students/clients and emergency contact names.

·       Students’ date of birth/age.

·       Relationship of the adult enrolling the student for classes at JHDA.

·       Staff details including name, address, DBS certificate number.

·       Parents/guardians/clients/staff home address, billing address, email address, home telephone number, mobile telephone              number.

·       Emergency contact numbers and relationship to student.

 

Financial information may include:

·       Students account payments and invoices.

·       Staff bank account details for payment.

 

Transation information may include:

·       Payment and purchase details made between us.

·       Your username and password, purchases, your preferences, feedback, and survey responses.

JHDA Principal and Class Manager have access to use your personal information. It is used to offer an excellent service, such as:

 

·       Process online enrolment forms for JHDA classes and/or events.

·       JHDA teachers will have students’ personal information on class registers in case we need to contact you in an emergency.             Teachers have been briefed on GDPR and will store printed registers in a lockable compartment to keep your personal                    information safe.

·       Medical information to provide the correct service.

·       Contact parents or guardians regarding student absences, sickness, or any other information.

·       Send you promotional newsletters or emails regarding upcoming news or events, new classes or products, or any other                  information that you may find interesting using the email address that you have provided and consented to.

·       Process orders for JHDA products or other service.

·       Update our account records.

·       Notify you of changes to our services.

·       Seek feedback or comments to improve the products and services we provide.

·       Support and manage staff contracts, payments.

·       Process a payment (or credit) for a product or service.

·       Provide outside agencies such as, Local Authorities, Production Companies with information for students to obtain the                    required performance licences.

We only access your personal information and/or share it with third parties when legally permitted, such as:

You have the right to request the following information:

·       Access the personal information we hold for you. For this, we would require proof of identity.

·       Correct your personal information.

·       Delete your personal data at any time by contacting the Dance School Principal, Miss Jenny at: jenny.jhda@hotmail.co.uk. If            you choose to do this, the personal information that we store will be deleted from our system, you will no longer receive                communications from us and your child’s place at JHDA will be withdrawn.

How long we keep your personal information for?

We review how long we keep personal information on a regular basis.

We are legally required to hold financial records for 7 years.  We only hold your personal information on our system for as long as is necessary for the relevant classes or events, or if it’s set out in any relevant contract or agreement you hold with us.

We review our Privacy Policy annually or as an when changes in legislation or internal procedures require it.
